The goal of the Rehabcentre is to restore the patient to the maximum level of
independence as possible. This is achieved through a program of intensive therapy,
as well as participation in activities aimed at transitioning the patient back into
the home and community environment. The Rehabcentre also involves the patient and
family in establishing goals and encourages family participation in treatment
sessions.
The medical director, who is a board-certified physical medicine and rehabilitation
specialist, leads our dedicated team of professionals, including psychologists,
occupational therapists, physical therapists, recreation therapists, rehabilitation
nurses, social workers, and speech/language pathologists. With a combination of skill
and compassion, we help patients regain their lives.
Candidates for the program must be at least 15 years of age and able to tolerate
an intensive therapy schedule. For information on the rehabcentre services,
please call (310) 514-5377.
Post Acute Care
Providence Little Company of Marys Post Acute Services
provide care to a unique group of patients that have complex medical needs, due to serious
injury, surgery, or sudden or chronic illness. This type of care is designed for patients
who need a very high level of care, but who no longer require hospital care in the acute
hospital setting. The goal of post acute care is to help patients achieve their highest
level of function and independence, with the emphasis on rehabilitation
and recovery.
For more information on our Post Acute Services, please call the Health Resource
Center at (800) 618-6659.
