Clinical rotations are offered at Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Centers, Torrance and San Pedro to RN students through an affiliation with several local colleges including:

Advancing the Profession

Centofante Scholarship Program
This scholarship program allows Providence Little Company of Mary nurses to pursue a BSN or MSN degree.

•	Assistance with tuition and books is available

New Grad and Specialty Training Programs
New grads and interns have continual positive professional influence and guidance by a dedicated mentor. A supportive learning environment is provided which includes precepted orientation and weekly strategies to enhance clinical, technical and communication skills required for successful transition to their new role. Individualized programs are offered in the following areas:

•	ICU	•	Women’s Health	•	Psych
•	Emergency	•	Acute Rehab	•	Pediatrics
•	Telemetry	•	Med/Surg	•	NICU

Continuing Education
In collaboration with NurseWeek, Providence Little Company of Mary provides free contact hours for nursing staff. This service can be accessed online, through Providence Little Company of Mary’s medical library, and through bi-monthly NurseWeek materials sent to all RN’s homes. In addition, the nursing education department offers a variety of classes and most are free of charge.
